“I decided to start channeling additional support to EDF through a charitable gift annuity (CGA) because of its sterling reputation as one of the world’s leading environmental organizations—and the fact that its many diverse programs are guided by science. I am particularly excited by EDF’s work to stabilize the climate, the biggest challenge and most pressing issue facing the world today.

“A charitable gift annuity is a way I can support the mission of EDF and at the same time earn guaranteed income in my retirement. Any tax benefits are secondary—it’s really the ‘charitable’ part of the CGA that attracts us.”
